Rep. Stephens delivers check for street and road improvements to Troy

Troy….Representative Ron Stephens (R-Highland) was happy to deliver a check for $200,000 to the city of Troy for street and road improvements on Monday.

Mayor Tom Caraker accepted the oversized check at a brief ceremony at city hall.

“I am pleased to be able to present this money to Troy,” Rep. Stephens said. “I have always been happy to help Troy and the other communities in my district with the construction projects they need.”

The money will be used by Troy to cover construction costs associated with a variety of upcoming street and road related projects throughout the city.
